Hi! My name is Andrey Fedorov. I am a multidisciplinary creative who works in both tech and the arts. With over 15 years of engineering experience building software systems for major companies, I combine an analytical background with an ongoing practice in contemporary art and music.

Professional Background

My engineering career began with a fundamental technical education in Zelenograd (nicknamed the Soviet Silicon Valley), a tech hub near Moscow, where I was born in 1983. I completed an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) in 2005, alongside concurrent studies in marketing. I later completed postgraduate training there in Computer Systems Analysis in 2008.

I spent my early career at Yandex from 2008 to 2013, developing core software engineering skills. I then relocated to the Netherlands, where I am now a Dutch citizen. From 2015 to 2025, I engineered global systems at Booking.com, earning a promotion to Senior Software Engineer in 2023.

Creative Practice

Alongside my technical work, I maintain a dedicated focus on music and visual arts. I played bass guitar for the shoegaze/dream-pop band Biatlón from 2024 to 2026. Having completed foundational classical training at Artis Ateliers and the Orientation Course at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, I have been admitted to the full-time Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design program at the Rietveld Academie, starting in September 2026.
